More Than A Game

Fulfilling The Great Commission Through Life's Greatest Game

Challenge Golf is a faith-based group that gathers around the game of golf to serve each other and our communities.

At Challenge Golf, we know that golf is so much more than a game. It represents an opportunity to grow closer with others, learn about the lives of those we play alongside, and ultimately, share the hope that is found in Jesus. Together with golfers across the nation, we are making good on that opportunity and making active progress toward ensuring that each course becomes a catalyst for Christ.

However, to go further, we need your help.

Our Vision

A Christ-centered, non-denominational nonprofit using the game of golf to share the Gospel and make disciples.

Our vision for the future involves an aggressive regional and national expansion plan. By 2026, CGA aims to grow from three East Tennessee chapters to more than 10 locations across the Southeast, including Alabama, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, and Virginia.

This growth strategy continues with a goal of scaling to 60 chapters within three years, and to over 250 chapters nationwide in 10 years.

Our Four-Fold Mission

Evangelize
Share the Gospel to lead many golfers to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.

Disciple
Provide a solid Biblical foundation through an 18-week Discipleship Program.

Raise Servant Leaders
Prepare them to lead victorious lives as servant leaders.

Create Church Connections
Connect new unchurched members with evangelical churches for praise, worship, and fellowship.

Gather

We’re setting up Challenge Golf Chapters across America, and we’d love for you to partner with us.

Not only do we host unique golf experiences like The Shootout and The Challenge Cup, we also work with some incredible athletes such as Tim Tebow, Tom Lehman, and John Smoltz to make sure these events are exciting to attend and to host.

Grow

In-between these incredible experiences, we make sure to provide our partner chapters with material to keep up the momentum in the Challenge Golf community.

Whether it’s competitions, PGA instruction, trick-shot clinics or small group curriculum, we make sure that our chapters receive ample opportunity to deepen their faith, improve their game, and grow closer to each other and to the Lord.

Serve

Not only does Challenge Golf actively serve our chapter members and leaders, but our chapters then serve their communities. Throughout the year, these chapters engage in service projects, providing second-chance opportunities to those in need. The highlight of our year in service is The Invitational ©, an annual golf tournament in your local community. Through this tournament, our chapter-members donate their time as caddies and invite unchurched friends and fellow golfers to play in a FREE golf tournament event in a picture of grace and servanthood.

VIP Events

By Grace we are saved through faith in Christ Jesus and receive the gift of Salvation though Christ’s shed blood on the cross. By this, we know that the Grace we receive, IS NOT FREE. Christ paid the price.

In order to provide “free monthly golf events” for unchurched and unsaved golfers, AND EXPAND THAT MINISTRY TO OTHER Chapters in other cities, someone has to pay. One funding method used by Challenge Golf is the conduct of VIP Experiences at various world-renown golf courses such as the Keep at McLemore Resort, The Olde Farm in Bristol, Virgina with noted guest speakers like Tim Tebow, Darryl Strawberry, Charlie Rymer and Henry Cho at the awards banquet following the golf.

Participants paying to participate in this event are treated to a great round of golf, at a bucket list golf course, in the company of a renown Christian athlete or entertainer.

It is a golf experience unlike any other.

CGA Chapters

The CGA Chapter is a local gathering of people focused on growing together and serving local communities around the game of golf. In addition to playing in and hosting amazing golf events, CGA Chapters provide opportunities to give back through partnerships that aid foster children, fight human trafficking, support people battling cancer, trapped in addictions, and so much more.

CGA Chapters are being started across the country and are fantastic places to have fun, build relationships, and serve others, all while playing golf.
